When I first started at my current company, my boss sent me an email from sales guy and unknowingly copied him. Asking if I can “see what this fucking toolbag wants...”

longstoryshort, the guy was a sport about it and now hes our bandwidth provider at all of our hub locations . That was almost 6 years ago, every time we open a new office we joke about it.

I worked with an older manager a number of years ago, (long since retired and passed a couple years ago.) He lived through watergate so any time any body was snooping around or doing research on something he would ask them if they were “deep throating”, not knowing what that term meant in modern slang... Buttoned up e x military, great guy and wonderful manager, but just had this one quirk...

I would gladly take some informality at work in exchange for the stuffy-ass environment I’ve found myself in. I work with a bunch of squares and it drives me a little bonkers. Last week I went to a college career fair with one of the 20-something engineers from one of our satellite offices and it was so refreshing for me to just have a normal conversation with someone from work that wasn’t square as fuck.

Had a group of 6 coworkers in the oversize SUV when we were in Atlanta for a meeting. Someone slams on the brakes in the thru-traffic lane to turn left, ignoring the actual turn lane. I momentarily forget about the car full of coworkers since everyone is on their phone anyway and mutter, “What a fuckknuckle.” The remainder of the 15 minute drive was spent discussing the origin of the term and where I could have possibly heard it. Fuckstick also would have worked in this situation.
